I've known Melissa for about 8 years now. She was 9 years old and I was 12 years old, just swimming away in swim club in our simple pre-teen state. But man oh man, Melissa was a crazy fast swimmer for her age! Even now, she's still regularly swimming with the Surrey Knights swim club..I quit that after 2 years, haha. But because her sticking around the Knights swim club and me getting a job with the pools where she regularly trains, we always kept in contact somehow! Anyways, so when I realized time had flown by so fast that this 9 year old I met 8 years ago was now graduating I was super psyched to do photos for her and her friends! Even though our time was cut a little short, I still think we got some good shots. You can't really go wrong with taking photos for a group of young men and women at their prime, decked out in all the fancies!
